Logo Design

A Logo is a graphical element that forms a trademark or commercial brand. It’s typically designed for immediate recognition, and unique from other logos in the same market by using different shapes, colors, fonts, and images. Having designed my first one when I was 13 for the Innovation Center in Van Wert, I’ve learned alot on the way and have become quite skilled. I have even taken some brands from their beginning stages, when all the clent had was a product, and turned it into a name and give it a logo.
My steps in creating a logo are as follows:
- Research the target market of your business and see what the trends are.
- Draw up some sketches of logos. Recreate the ones that the client and I like in a clean, digital format.
- Pick out a couple of typefaces that would go well with your brand.
- Put the typefaces and the logos together and arrange them into 4 different proofs for the client to pick from.
- Output their logo in a 1-2 color design, full color design, and variations on black and white backgrounds.
- Make any additional changes that the client requires.
I create logos in a vector graphics based format, which means that they will be able to be scaled to any size without any loss of quality; as well as used in just about anything that the client needs their logo for. I will also output it to any format that the client wishes at no additonal cost for up to 5 years.
